Georg Grestenberger brings 12 years of experience in the polyolefin industry. He started his career at Borealis R&D working as product developer and researcher for several years. Afterwards he spent more than six years as Innovation Project Manager, leading several major multidiscipline research & development projects at Borealis Innovation Headquarters in Linz, Austria. Since May 2018 he works as Application Marketing Manager Automotive Interior at Borealis Polyolefine GmBH, Linz (Austria). In this function, he is managing the Daplen™ and Fibremod™ interior product range of Borealis’, a global portfolio of value added mineral and glass fibre reinforced polypropylenes for various automotive applications. He drives the development of new interior material solutions and technologies together with value chain partners, TIERs, OEMs and academia. Georg holds a Master in Material Engineering from the University Of Applied Science Wels, Austria. He is co-inventor of 25 patents and patent applications and corresponding author of several papers in international journals.

Borealis will show examples of how the company and its value chain partners in the automotive industry tackle industry challenges by developing polyolefin-based solutions.
